The customs director of the Qeshm Free Zone Organization added: "Also, 20,423 tons of goods worth more than 70 million and 470 thousand dollars from this region to other free and special economic zones and other countries, including Iraq, India, Pakistan, China," Exported to UAE and other Gulf countries.
According to Homayouni; Last year, more than 5,890 tons of goods worth $ 46 million worth of raw materials used by factories and production units and machinery related to production lines were imported to the Qeshm Free Zone.
He noted that France, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, China, Turkey, the UAE and Germany are the main sources of the island's imported products.
In the end, Homayouni said: "Boosting non-oil exports and targeted imports to supply raw materials and machinery needed by production units in order to implement the policies of the resistance economy, are the most important customs missions of the Qeshm Free Zone Organization."
